General terms and conditions of business
1. Scope of Application
All orders, bookings, and services concluded via the website sweetsociety.ch or directly with Sweet Society, Nathalie Haas (hereinafter referred to as "Sweet Society") are subject to the following General Terms and Conditions (GTC). By placing an order or making a booking, the customer accepts these GTC. A customer is any natural or legal person who maintains business relations with Sweet Society.
2. Order and Conclusion of Contract
By ordering products in the online shop or booking services (e.g., Event Food Bar, Coffee Cart, Catering), the customer submits a binding offer to conclude a contract. The contract is concluded as soon as Sweet Society confirms the order or booking by email. If a product or service is not available, Sweet Society is not obliged to fulfill the order; payments already made will be refunded. There is no general right of return for products.
3. Prices
All prices are stated in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include statutory VAT. Shipping costs, delivery costs, or any setup and dismantling costs will be charged additionally and are shown in the order or booking process. Sweet Society may adjust prices at any time without prior notice.
4. Payment
For online shop orders, the payment methods specified at checkout are available (e.g., credit card, Apple Pay, TWINT). Payment is due immediately. For event bookings, Sweet Society may require a down payment of 30–50% of the total amount, payable within 10 days of invoicing. The remaining amount is due no later than 7 days before the event.
5. Delivery, Duty of Inspection, and Returns
Products are shipped by post or courier to the delivery address provided by the customer. The benefits and risks pass to the customer upon dispatch. The customer is obliged to inspect the delivery immediately and to report any complaints in writing within 48 hours. Returns are at the customer's expense and risk and only after prior arrangement. The goods must be returned in their original packaging, unopened, and complete.
6. Services for Events (Event Food Bar / Coffee Cart)
- Sweet Society undertakes to carefully provide the agreed services on the booked date.
- Changes in scope or procedure (e.g., duration, number of people, location) must be communicated by the customer in good time and may result in price changes.
- The customer is responsible for providing the necessary infrastructure (e.g., power connections, access routes, standing space), unless otherwise agreed.
7. Cancellation Conditions (Events)
- Up to 30 days before the event date: free cancellation.
- Up to 14 days before the event date: 50% of the agreed price will be due.
- Less than 7 days before the event date or no-show: 100% of the agreed price will be charged.
- Down payments already made will be offset against the cancellation costs according to the above conditions.
8. Right of Withdrawal (Online Shop)
There is no statutory right of withdrawal for online shop orders.
9. Complaints
Customer satisfaction is our highest priority. Complaints must be reported in writing within 48 hours of receipt of the goods or service (email to info@sweetsociety.ch). Rectification, replacement delivery, reduction, or refund will only be granted for justified complaints.
10. Transport Damage
Sweet Society assumes no liability for damage during transport, unless it is due to its own fault. The customer must report transport damage directly to the transport company.
11. Liability
Sweet Society is only liable for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence.
- Sweet Society assumes no liability for failures caused by force majeure, weather conditions, official measures, or other circumstances beyond its control.
- The customer is responsible for health risks (e.g., allergies, intolerances). Sweet Society will disclose the ingredients used upon request but assumes no liability for any reactions.
- The manufacturer is solely liable for products from third-party manufacturers.
12. Vouchers and Discounts
Vouchers or discount codes cannot be combined. Cash payments are excluded. Only one voucher can be used per order.
13. Data Protection
